40085 - LEGO Valentine

Definitely getting a couple of this love set. Any thoughts on whether this could be sought after around Valentine 2015?

My wife said she didn't like it... Said it looked like a rat xD

Wow, that thing is pretty ugly... I'll still end up buying one though... I saw my target has the coast guard plane poly for valentines day. I didn't see any lego friend sets though. They didn't even have a spot for it...

It really is not that appealing, I must say.

The 40085 LEGO Valentine Bear is a set that will have a limited production run which should end shortly.  It is quite a cute set and box and these Holiday sets always appreciate well.  Don't overlook these small sets as part of you investment portfolio...

yea gf wanted one and ended up breaking my "no investing this year" rule, and picking up three extra.  didn't even make it a month. I blame BP

Bought one for my kids to make for my wife.  It's an investment in love.  Thanks.

HAHAHAHA!  I'm sorry, i just couldn't keep from laughing when I saw the "no investments this year" part.  You had no shot at that, so I'm glad that "rule" is behind you now.  :)  I can barely make it four days.  In fact, I CAN'T make it four days.  That was the streak I had going until I went and spent $800 at Walmart today.  Streaks are meant to end, right?

Wonder if these will go on sale after Valentines? Assuming that they don`t stick around much longer. It`s a really nice bear for sure, and if production run is short, may be worth loading up on some.

yea rehab is for quitters

It is a really great looking set - I like it a heck of a lot better than the heart from last year.  I grabbed 5, I to build with my wife and four to hold just for fun.
