Attached is the current list of retired sets at Lego UK.  It's a good guide of what to look for in supermarkets and department stores if you don't want lots of boxes in your loft for too long.

6860 is noteworthy. Anyone know if there is any standard protocol as to time delay for items retired in the UK before they go in the US? I need to stock up, but really wanted to find these at least 25% off.

Waiting on Retired label for 6857 in the US as well. Should be soon.

Thanks to the OP for this list.

It can vary on TLGs whim. Diagon Alley went EOL in the eu 6 months before the USA. Most go at a similar time world wide.

A friend of a friend is a JL retiree and I've asked her to buy 3x WVCs for me at 20% off (staff discount) for next Xmas, we'll split the profits.

Can one of you guys across the pond please post a similar list from your end... thanks!

In that list is missing 10197 Fire brigade and 10214 Tower Bridge - but I have heard a lot of speculations that they are over and already retired. Also I have saw that many these sets disappeared from the eshops last days. Do you think they are retired? I dont want to go to a panic buy for a bigger price, if there is a chance of restocking them...

10197 is missing from the list as it hasn't officially retired in the UK yet and 10214 is still very much alive.  10214 is often cheaper at Amazon France/Italy which is where I got my last 2 from.  If you see a 10197 at RRP in a shop nearby, just buy it.

Feel free to post an updated list if you have one.  I'll post another one from the UK this weekend.

10197 is retired...I wrote to Lego when the 10197 come back on the LEGO Shop at Home and they answer me in this way:

Gentile Gianluca,

La ringraziamo per il suo interesse nei prodotti LEGO
