November 2, 201510 yr I've got a load of S2 as well. Had more success in UK knocking them out at average £22 per tribe, so £66 per set. Buy in was £2 per mixel.
November 2, 201510 yr I'm starting to run out of S2. I've had a lot of success selling them in their individual tribes, instead of sets.
November 2, 201510 yr Yeah splitting them seems to work better. I sold a complete set of series one for £92. But when I split them I got £50 for yellow, £30 for red and £35 for the greys. So £115, but the difference was the speed at which they sold. So much quicker. I've had a full set set of s2 up for a month @£55 with no takers. I'm gonna split these when Im back from holiday into sets of 3. I only payed £1 each for these For some reason I really wanna do a mega bundle of S1,2,3,4,5,6. Stupid because a) I won't get as much, and b) they prob wouldn't sell.
November 3, 201510 yr Author Sales the last week or so, all from large bulk lot. 4210/7739 Coast Guard - $125 7016/7018 Vikings - $120 4996/4954/4956 Creator Houses - $200 10216 WV Bakery - $140 Just about done with this thing, going to turn a nice profit when done. Had to take a bit of a hit on the Creator houses since I was missing the rare windows for 4954.
November 3, 201510 yr Nice. If u don't mind me asking, how long from the purchase to the sale did it take : assembly and ordering parts? I always feel like it takes forever for me to flip a set from bulk.

I always feel like it takes forever for me to flip a set from bulk. Don't mind at all. I purchased lot from a fellow Brickpicker back in February/March. Consisted of 250+ lbs. He had done some initial sorting, but finishing that and washing all the parts took about a month. I have been ordering parts as I go, inventorying about a dozen sets or so going by theme.(Had over 100 sets in it from 2005-2009 timeframe) Overall, I'm sure I've made minimum wage due to that hours put in sorting, but was able to keep some really cool sets like an Emerald Night, Motorized AT/AT, 7993 Service Station I've wanted for a long time, random figures, etc. etc. Between what I kept and sold/end up selling(have about a dozen left), I'll make a few thousand profit on a few thousand investment. Was hoping to double my money and I'll be darn close to doing it. This takes into account parts ordered, but not time or anything as I don't lose normal income due to working on this. I've kept a spreadsheet just for this lot to see how it goes. I'll also be taking a long break from doing this again as well.
