September 10, 201510 yr Newborn Foal for $27?!?What is this world coming to? And why do I still have a ton of them in my inventory? It's been a big surprise for me. I've sold 10 or so for $25-$27. Horses aint dead yet. I picked up a pile of them at KMart for $4.50 each. Edited September 10, 201510 yr by exciter1
September 10, 201510 yr thats a little more QFLL than usual for you...At $80 a pop, I'd go for it, too. Edited September 10, 201510 yr by biking_tiger
September 10, 201510 yr At $80 a pop, I'd go for it, too. just an observation. I do find it funny though some were against flipping Wall E at $80 with a $45 buy in but flipping RE at $80 is considered good. Only a $5 difference buy in yet viewed completely different.
September 10, 201510 yr thats a little more QFLL than usual for you...It's all relative and I do mix it up a little. One method may be a little more conservative than the other, but you can win either way.

As it is, my best options are online--by the time my orders ship, the ship has sailed.

Of course, I think I would have lost doing that at RE, as I still think this set has a chance to go zombies.. But, obviously, it comes down to the amount of resellers in the game. If there are just a handful… it's good times, but once the 2nd and 3rd wave of restocks come out, most of the people buying them at that point are just going in to flip, so the reseller count goes way up, and then the prices crash. Trex, and IR were perfect examples. I'm sitting on 9 trex's, and I kick myself I didn't flip 7 of them when they reached the 120 mark. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Changed my tune with the Monsters S14 line, so that made up for it. Anyway, Sold :S14 Complete sets at 1x 135, 2x 125, 1x 120, 2x 117.Sold 5 Tiger Girls, 2 banshees, 2 witches, and 1 vampire girl all over 10.00, 3 specters, 2 bigfoots, 3 fly's, and 2 crazy scientists at 8.00 (when the game just began).Blew out 2x Winter Soldiers at 16.00. Force Friday turned into a good game. Managed to get all the kylo figures, and found a completely fresh case of Monsters S14 that was just put out in a rural walmart. No one was around, so I spent about a half hour accumulating complete sets till 1:15 in the morning. Easy money. Edited September 10, 201510 yr by fossilrock
September 10, 201510 yr Especially when RE are harder to accumulate Wal-Mart doesn't carry Wall-E, so this doesn't ring true for me.

If everyone gets theres at the same time then there will be a lot of sellers which will kill the flip. I only flipped RE and didn't mess with the others so lost potential profits there as well. Others did IR, RR, Trex and did very well with it but I stayed away from it. RE had and still does have a lot going for it in that is was WM and LEGO only and very little discount opportunites after the Winter Soldier month when it first got hot. RR finally made an appearance today so maybe the Raptor shortage will be done soon. Maybe it won't. I took a risk on Monsters S14 over the weekend and picked up 20 cases but then of course they came back in stock so will have to wait that out a little.

Yeah, I agree about Raptor Escape, and plan on the long term for that one. I should have tossed all my trex's, but at the time it looked like the most understocked of all of them because it was the hardest one to land at the time. Now looking back, it just looks like it was the last set to be released in significant numbers. I also think one thing going for Raptor Rampage is it's vastly under stocked. There's probably many kids out there that want that one but haven't been able to find it, because they want them all… So, even a minor restock won't suffice demand. I think the two raptor sets have long term potential.
September 10, 201510 yr Sold my last NISB R2D2 for $365 shipped.Made a 50% profit after fees & shipping on that one.In total, I made a profit of $342 with my four NISB R2D2's, which I all sold this year, after acquiring them at retail last year. This was a good set to buy and resell within a year just like GE and AA.Sitting on sets for more than a year makes me very unconfortable unless I have no choice with slow growers like EEE and HE for example.Oh well, goodbye R2D2 and hello to newer sets with the goal to make a decent gain in 2016.

September 10, 201510 yr I wish I could get $80 for an RE. I can't even move them at 70. Of course it doesn't help that I am still "just launched" on amazon even though I have been selling for over a year and have hundreds of sales with 0 returns. I can't get ANYONE to leave me a feedback.
