  • It's the market driving the prices down more than the sellers. If you're looking for a Sail Barge, Star Destroyer or what ever are you going to pay 3x retail for an older set? Or will you

Look at the volume chart for 6210. Volume has plummeted even though prices have dropped 30%. Buyers determine prices, not resellers.   Also be aware that the used sandcrawler price listed

Didn't realize they were going for 230 at one point.  It is still a great set.  Currently, I don't have much interest in the new one.

I'm getting one in a used lot...felt good until I saw the price guide.  But still an awesome set.

I've run across this set several times, it's a worthwhile build, the bottom is a little weak, but that's my only real complaint with it. And it is HUGE.

I was hoping the cantina would crash too.  I wonder why that set has help steady?

I bought one new around Christmas of last year for $300 off eBay.  Well, it was mostly new - box was open and in good condition and inner bags were sealed.  So it was never built.  In fact, like many other sets in my collection, it still isn't built.

I am looking forward to putting this on display at some point.

I have one I bought off Ebay last October Opened box but baggies sealed. The seller wasn't sure if the set was complete. Before I bought it I researched the number of baggies (which was the correct count)and did an eyeball check from the pictures provided and decided it was worth the risk for $275. It's only money. I have yet to buildit because I have a Lego addiction and so many other Lego things going on. Sort sort sort.....

Looks like the used set has taken a severe hit.

Why are people upset about the used versions going down? Who buys used stuff to invest in?

New set is still not doing terribly. This is why I love remakes. At some point I will grab this set for 150$

Some people like to make some money on a sets they opened and put together.

Looks like the new 10144s have leveled off. I would not be surprised to see an increase in prices again. It was a great set and quite different from the newest Sandcrawler.

Not like I don't see that, Its just weird you worry about it several years after. I mean, I guess some people build and keep for 5 years and sell. I don't so maybe I don't understand that.

Either way when they are both retired it will stabilize.

Once they are both retired they probably will.

So far it is prob because the refresh was just released. It it 3 more months and you'll see prices dropping like sharks in Sharknado

10144 prices didn't really start the the decline until last May / June.
