I guess it is in the way we use it on this website but I was looking at at a golf related item on Ebay and the listing clearly stated that the item would be drop shipped. It would be perfectly fine for someone to drop ship an item by purchasing it through their own means after receiving payment for this service via paypal for instance. However, through eBay, crooks are using stolen credit card information as the funds to purchase Lego sets and pocketing all of the money obtained through the eBay/Paypal payment. I would never buy something that I know up front is not even coming from the original seller. Drop shipping works just fine for some small, simple, inexpensive items, but I for one would not by my LEGO stuff this way. Just my two sense. Just my two sense.Best way to buy a LEGO set on EBAY(unless it's from a large retailer or Top seller) is to buy from a seller that posts photos. Stops drop shippers almost every time.
