Does anybody here sell on Bricklink by any chance? I have considered doing it, but it just seems like a lot of work with little or no payout. If anyone is doing it or has done it, I would be grateful to hear about your experiences. Thanks!

Are you looking to part out sets to sell or to just sell sets?

I am mostly considering selling left over parts. I know there is an option to list all the parts from a given set, but even this seems pokey, and likely to take a long time to get results.

Oh boy. I sell on BL and love it. I sell on eBay too but reluctantly. If you are just looking to sell parts BL is your only option, unless you want to just bulk it by pound. Uploading individual lots is a tedious, time-devouring process, but over the months you will get much more than if you bulk it. If you are parting out a set, that takes no time at all, except for sorting it into storage. Before you begin you will need a foolproof sorting method, adequate storage, oodles of shipping supplies, and USPS perspicacity. No, BL is not perfect, but it is the Mecca of LEGO.

So, to the point, yes it is a lot of work (for parts), but the payout is ultimately (long range) greater. But as with all things LEGO, you have to build your store. 10k parts minimum before orders start trundling in.
