November 26, 201312 yr Author Well the Lone Ranger Train is $62, which is still $4 cheaper than Amazon. I think it would be smart to get that. There are also limits to the discounts overall, so you need to figure out how to get the best deal.
November 26, 201312 yr I know this is not looked upon favorably as an investment by some, but 7498 Police Station is a great deal @ $67.75 before tax. I think this one has some sleeper potential, and at $67.75 you can't go wrong. While you're not going to make 4842 type returns, I bet this one hits $180-$200 in a couple of years. At a $67 price point, that's not a bad return - just don't expect to flip it for big $.

November 26, 201312 yr On that set/line---yes. I doubt they are in production still....once they dump all these sets....the train may be $109 shipped next November on ebay. Maybe 149 the following year...and plateau there. I really doubt they are going to make more; and probably regret making as much as they did. Nothing in this line was desired at retail.

Speak for yourself but that Calvary Builder is Ballin! Yeah I agree though - the train is closest. At $80 retail it would have sold better. I think it is the only winner there is in the line and I am not gonna take too many chances on it.

I agree, I've picked up the Calv builder the day they released just for kicks but I've held off on everything else until I've gotten them on discount. I exchanged a set at the Lego store for the Mine Shootout and I got the stagecoach for $13 at Kmart. I almost bit on the $64 train at TRU last week but held off. I'm expecting to be able to find most of these at 50% off at Walmarts. The train has been so heavily discounted EVERYWHERE.
