Well, this happened about this time last year so we'll see if it's a hoax. The Grand Emporium is showing sold out on LEGO Shop at Home this evening. We'll have to see whether it truly is or if it's just out of stock. Would be interesting if it did go before the Fire Brigade. Guess we'll see. It's time for a Modular or two to go EOL in my opinion.

Good question. I wonder if after the FB goes they will mark this one down for a while too. If the FB is the first to retire that is. I just have this weird feeling that so many investors buying these up is what is keeping it from being retired. Then again if so many people are buying them why did they need to mark the FB down to $119.

Who knows but I wish it would get discounted because I want to buy one to save and one to build. I asked if anyone wanted to trade 3 GE for one 10/1O MISB DS but no one is biting lol

I was going to pick up an emporium last year, but it just wasn't at the top of my list. Looks like I have plenty of time to procrastinate on it...
