I've never been to a convention before so not really sure how all of it will play but will definitely be visiting LEGO.

There are only going to be 1,000 of these, so based on that fact alone, I would think it would be a good idea to pick one up. My instinct matches yours, these will do great. This is a highly exclusive Star Wars LEGO set we're talking about after all. :)

Sell them quickly and you can get easily over $100 for one. Wait a couple of weeks and the price will drop. Eventually, they will level off and increase in value again, but the trick is to list them immediately after you buy it. People love to have the "new" item and will pay more to have it.

You have seen what other numbered sets do on EBAY and these might do very well one day, but as with anything, there are no guarantees. They are small sets and the minifigures are nothing special. Looks like there are three "tins" so far...Darth Maul, Boba Fett and now the NYC Comic Con version. If can collect all of them as a set, they might be a good investment. It is a high risk, high reward type of investment.

Try to get the black ninja, i think it will have more value in the future than the Luke tin
