I wanted to pass on a web site I created that might be useful for people selling on eBay:

The site shows you the hottest listings currently on eBay, as determined by number of bids, watchers, or current price. I had been using a simpler version at home to see what's trending in comic books (to figure out what I could buy and flip), and I figured I'd flesh it out so that anyone could use it for any category.

For instance, if you look at the "Bulk Bricks & Lots" category, the listing with the highest number of bids is a set of 20 clone trooper minifigs with 35 bids, and the highest price is a 19" Lord Garmadon display at $490. If you drill into a specific set category (let's try Indiana Jones, he never seems to get much love...) then the highest price is a Crystal Skull 7627 at a measly $99, and the listing with the highest number of bids is the Motorcycle Chase 7620 with 14 bids. Like I said, no love...

You can go as shallow or as deep as you like into each category - look at the entire Lego category overall, or drill all the way down into set themes.

There are also pages that show listings with a low Buy It Now (lots of instruction books!) as well as listings (again by category...) ending soon with no bids.

The site is totally non-commercial - there are no ads, and I don't have affiliate links. I mainly just did it half as a tool to use myself, and half as a programming exercise. I'm open to any comments on usability or appearance!

Thanks for sharing, Bosuch! Always nice to have a larger variety of sites to make good investments and buys!

EDIT: Wow, I completely missed the part where you said that you created Listing Trends. You're doing a great job!! :D

Very cool.  Currently, I am involved in the top 2 Star Wars bids, too.  Nice to know I am where the action is.  Now if there is a White Sox game on, and a bag of Sun Chips in the pantry, I am good to go.

Thanks for sharing, maybe I am missing the point of this site. I am looking at listings, but don't see how that will help me find useful information.  What am I supposed to do to get anything out of it.  What does finding a listing with the highest amount of bids for Star Wars Lego supposed to tell me.  Maybe that is a bunch of dummies bidding .50?   The high priced sets, hey the Falcon or some other long time high priced sets.   Can someone share how it would be useful?

It may not be useful for Lego sellers, I don't know, I just threw it out there... The way I am using it is mostly for selling comic books - I can spot when the price of a book is trending upwards, and then see if I can still find it at the local comic shop, new or cheap in the back issue bins.
