Are fruitcakes running rampant on eBay lately? Selling, buying, listing, feedback, etc...

A buyer asked to cancel an item, but I was Johnny on the Spot with printing the USPS label so I had it printed before the request came through.  I have not put it in the mail, but can I get my cost for the label refunded?  Do I need to go through eBay or USPS for that?

Go to Orders -> Shipping Labels.  For the order that you canceled, choose Actions.  There should be a drop down with a choice to Cancel label.

Then you wait 2-3 weeks for USPS to verify and refund postage.

I probably should charge money for my arcane eBay knowledge :P

Thanks.  eBay still won't allow me to cancel since it showed as shipped.  Looks like I'll have to contact them.

I ended up just initiating a refund and that basically worked the same as cancelling and everything seems to be sorted out.

So the guy that did this ended up doing it again to me on a different set.  I did not ship the second set before the cancellation request came in so I was able to cancel after the fruitcake finally made up his mind.  The first two images are from the first transaction the third image is from the second.  I knew the guy was a little antsy so I didn't cancel immediately, I should have let it go all night to see how many messages he would have sent.  I added him to my blocked list after I set the last message.

Second transaction, he submitted a cancellation request and then sent this message.

Is there a "black list" of eBay drop shippers; I have come accross some suspicious buyers lately. they wait about a week to pay and then the ship to name is way different than the eBay user name. One of these, I googled map the address and it was a very sketchy area for a $350 LEGO set; I canceled the order and blocked the buyer. And, did something changed in the settings, I never had to wait over a week for the buyer to pay ( I mainly sell during the X-mas time).

Under “Preferences”

“Require Immediate Payment” setting is default to off you have to turn it on.
