BRIX23 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Need some advice about ebay buyers. I'm just beginning to clear out my personal collection of NIB sets that I'll never get around to building/no longer have display space. I've sold a few things over many years of my ebay account and have 100% feedback score. I have all my listings set to buy it now without offers. However, I'm constantly getting ebay messages from potential buyers asking me to take lower than my listing. Most offers coming in are 15%-20% of my listed price. All my listings are at or below price of current sets available and within range of historical sales prices. My fear is that if I don't accept their offer they will buy it anyway because I'm the best price and then leave me negative feedback because I wouldn't negotiate. What do I do with these people? Ignore their messages? Respond and politely decline? Counter with an offer I'm more comfortable with? Quote
weemsc54 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I also have offers turned off and still receive offer messages. Typically I block them as fast as I can. Someone who wants to negotiate an already fair price is far more likely to be a difficult buyer after the sale in my experience, so I avoid them altogether. 1 1 Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I just ignore and move on. The slightly more annoying ones are the ones who act like they are going to buy multiple quantities, but ending up just trying to get discount on 1. 1 Quote
stackables Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Depends how motivated you are to sell the item. 1 Quote

Almost anyone that asks too many questions especially if the listing is clear, is already flagged by me as a potential problematic customer and sometimes I just block them for that. eBay is great in allowing us to do that. I wish amazon had such an option as well. 1 Quote
