Does this look custom (not genuine) to anyone else?

 

I am posed to buy a bunch of copies of the video game and get as many of these as possible.

Do you guys think this game will be as hard to find once it's released like the LOTR game last year? My wife had to hit a handful of stores in Nov to find one for me for Christmas. If that's the case with this game I see this figure doing really well as it will only be a Preorder bonus from Walmart. 

 

Also I'm noticing Walmart says the game releases Dec 31st 2013 unlike all the other websites that say Oct 2013. Any insights?

I believe it is legit. There were a heap of Lord of the Rings minifigs that made their way onto ebay way before the sets were released, and they also originated from Mexico.

Yeah after doing some more looking around it looks right. The person also sold some figures from the Jabba's barge set. Any guesses on release date and where the price will be after the first flood of them on ebay.

I think the best comparison is to that of the exclusive Elrond minifig from last year with the LOTR game. It will be receiving very decent prices down the road, I would be trying to get as many as possible. I believe the release date, at least here in Australia, is November

It don't really mater if the game does well. It's a walmart pre-order exclusive. I wonder how many were made? I mean if Walmart doesn't give them all away on preorder then I'd guess they will rot in a box in the stock room or someone will swipe them and they will end up on ebay.

Yes! This will be available over here in Spain, at least in GameStop!
