So u an fairly new to investing in general in Legos but my main problem has not been making money but knowing the themes. Some like Star Wars and lotr and Harry potter are obvious. Others not.

So what types of sets should you look for with ninjaco? What makes them so popular?

Featured Replies

I have only invested on a couple of them, but basically anything that involves any of the dragons should do good once retired.

Kids love Ninjas. Kids demand ninjas. Parents buy ninja sets lol.

In all seriousness I think having a regularly scheduled tv show, an extremely popular one at that, helped boost the ninjago themes popularity.

Amen.  Ninjago does a great job with the dragons and the enemies the ninjas fight, too.

Is it Kids that buy these at such high prices in the secondary market though?

Oh no, they just ask their parents until they agree to get them for them. :d

With a new Ninjago movie coming, the success of this line will continue!
And yes parents will buy Lego for their kids to complete their sets. They won't make as high returns as some sets I don't believe but they still do very, very nicely.
