June 29, 201312 yr So it is an all white kit with the aim of teaching people advanced techniques in Lego architecture?
June 29, 201312 yr Author So it is an all white kit with the aim of teaching people advanced techniques in Lego architecture? That's what it looks like to me. Basically a 'blueprint' set for building your own Architecture style sets I'd say. It could be an interesting parts package if all I wanted so happened to be white pieces.
June 29, 201312 yr Totally looking forward to going to see the presentation and picking up the set as well. Thanks for the plugs Orc!

June 29, 201312 yr This actually sounds really cool!! I wish they had these in more than one color. You know... 50 shades of gray and red and blue and stuff! Should we expect this to be around $90-$100?

June 29, 201312 yr Interesting concept, just not for me. I have very little creativity for this kind of thing.
June 29, 201312 yr Gonna predict $149.99. Just watch. :-) Could be right, sarm. College class supplements can be
June 29, 201312 yr Also, I hope I am wrong on the price. My dad is an architect, and I don't think I can avoid buying this for his next visit with a 5 year old budding builder grandson in the house.
June 29, 201312 yr Also, I hope I am wrong on the price. My dad is an architect, and I don't think I can avoid buying this for his next visit with a 5 year old budding builder grandson in the house. I bet everyone will be having tons of fun building different structures while also learning about architecture.
June 29, 201312 yr I'm confused, is the set available only on those 3 days? Ha, I hope it is longer than that. If that was the case it would put The Zombies to shame pretty quickly.
June 29, 201312 yr Author I'm confused, is the set available only on those 3 days?I think it will only be initially and for this event, but afterwards I would hope to see it pop up on Shop-at-Home.
July 14, 201312 yr They are holding one of these in Atlanta as well on the 25th. http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/4449435
July 14, 201312 yr Author They are holding one of these in Atlanta as well on the 25th. http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/4449435Thank you for finding out about that and posting here. I'll add the info to the main post for everyone to know.
July 15, 201312 yr People over at Brickset are saying that the 21050 will be available at other retailers, but B&****** is just getting it first. http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/11247/architecture-studio-21050-anyone-know-anything Here's to hope!
July 15, 201312 yr It's possible you just need to be at a Barnes & Noble. When I checked the local Chicago calendar, here's what it came up with: http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/4420600 While it doesn't provide specifics, this "special event" sounds like they will be introducing Lego Architecture studio. I'll call tomorrow to see exactly what they're introducing (assuming the clerk answering the phone knows anything).
