I ask, sometimes they give you one, sometimes they give you 2 if kids are with you, and I've had them give me them all before.

I never buy anything and ask nicely.

Got it brand new sealed for $22 (including delivery).

All the latest Brickheadz- Ghost, Scarecrow, Elves, and Kylo Ren/Sith Trooper.

Picked up a minty sealed UCS Slave-1 locally on FB for $145. Will flip it over the holidays.

Have been dreaming about the set for a while. So found it brand new for $22 (including delivery).

Picked up this lot on Craigslist for $40

Ended up containing:

8039 Venator Star Destroyer, 6212 - X-Wing,  8018 - AAT, 7754 - Home One, 8017 - Darth Vader's Tie Fighter, 8036 - Separatist Shuttle, 21002 - Empire State Building, 41171 - Baby Wind Dragon. Most of these sets were complete in the bags. Took barely an hour to build them all. A-Wing windshield was eaten by someone's dog. Otherwise, everything seemed to be there including figures.

Resold the large box of random stuff for $100 the next morning on Facebook after browsing it to see if there was anything worth the trouble... there was not.

So in the end I made $60, and got 9 sets, being the pass through for a large box of miscellaneous blocks.

Macy’s 5th Ave. I left some crushed boxes. We are vacationing and wife wanted to stop in. FedEx back home was $100. And yes, return sticker on every one.

So, let's say, hypothetically you are out of the buying game, and slowly selling off your sets. Then you happen upon a toy retailer who has the following on the shelf:

 

- 1x 70594 Ninjago Lighthouse Siege for $63 (retired in 2017, current FBA $185)

- 3x 70312 Nexo Knights Lance's Mecha Horse for $17.50 each (retired in 2017, current FBA $45)

- 1x 41147 Anna's Snow Adventure for $17.50 (retired 2017, current FBA $43)

- 6x 10746 Mia's Farm Suitcase for $18 each (retired summer 2018, current FBA $44).

 

What would you do?

Buy the Lighthouse Siege and sell it, ignore the rest.
