anyone not surprised that TBBT is still available despite the promo, the double vip and the retiring tag?  didn't stop dr. who and wall-e from biting the dust.  TBBT-   another ideas set i will have zero of when it goes belly up.  of course there will be the 6 month requisite after life thanks to walmart stock that even the resellers can't suck up until enough newbz climb aboard the ss legotanic seeing that its retired and all.  TBBT - birds part deux (the exo suit riseth) coming to a theater reseller closet near you.

hoping that minecraft crafting box finally bites this dust - 3rd time in back order in the last 3 weeks.  time to go like it is in south korea.

I think I have 2 of the tbbt sets, enough for me. The only difference between this and exo is that there was a period of time when you could make nice buck on suits.

I am not surprised. I never liked TBBT. I tried to watch it once. Yuck.

Birds actually is a pretty decent set. Shame I have none.

TBBT? I have zero sets of this and I have no intention of getting any. The UK market may be different from the US, but I don't see a great demand for the sets over here in great numbers. Leave well alone in the UK would be my advice. A real stinker.

Got very last "Pet Shop Box" (sounds like a pop music band name) from Westminster Lego Store

I was going to school you on The Pet Shop Boys but you're from the UK.

If I find out I need to school you, though, I am boarding a plane, coming to your house, and making you walk across 20 feet of mixed LEGO with no shoes or socks on.

I never check TRU because their shipping is so bad, Walmart was out, but I refuse to give them any of my money.  So maybe try will hang on.  Would be nice for them to come back at 100 again.  At that price I'll buy a bundle TRU and risk it.

Might not last till Friday. Walmart just went out of stock and all of a sudden toys r us is down to limit 3. In 2 years you might be saying I should of bought it at retail while it was still available. Then again you might not. Hard set to predict.

A wing is a classic? That has to be one of the least impressive looking ships in the entire realm of science fiction.

Classic as in Original Trilogy.  You don't have to like it, but one of those least impressive ships took down the Executor...

I can't stand the show either but, had to get one for my cussoo/ideas collection and 3-4-2 at Tesco to cover myself just in case. I just wish I'd left the Simpsons House alone, that's my biggest turkey so far. Incredibly low demand in the UK so it'll be widely available for eternity.

SAH in EU seems to be lagging well behind the US in the OOS and C2C stakes... hopefully the upcoming snow globe promo fixes that.

Expand

That's because in Europe we're all holding out for the Snowglobe promo to start coming Friday. :)  The USA is ahead with the availability of the Snowglobe promo and look how the effect of that turns out for sets moving to OOS / C2C status. The same will be happening here in Europe starting this Weekend and early next week.

Regarding the TBBT set: in general I love the Ideas theme and I do invest in them. But the TBBT set does't hold any appeal for me and I haven't considered buying even one set for my own collection.

Received the "Late Holiday 2016 Catalog" in the mail today. Smallish catalog (maybe 30 pages). 4 Modulars featured, no PS.

But Maze still shows on the Ideas page. Discuss ......

Going out on a limb and going to say that isn't likely to be retired before the end of 2016.  Plus, the Helicarrier might be sticking around for awhile.

Grain of salt, but my TRU had a shelf full of mazes on Sun. Totally forgot to check seal codes.
