When I first saw it I thought it must be a fire station from Columbus, Indiana (The town is notable for it's modern and post-modern architecture in public buildings)

I.M. Pei designed the public library in Columbus, Indiana,  Columbus has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects as America's sixth-best city for architectural innovation.

I like the more modern look of this set.

Out of a lineup this is easily one of the most standout designs for a Fire Station that LEGO has released. Nice use of curves and good for general display & play. Not deep enough to park the included truck proper but extending the back section should not be too difficult.
