May 10, 201312 yr Why on this earth would people actually bid on this thing? Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon (10179) If this goes up in the $2000+ range and someone actually tries to pay for this, I will just give up and donate my collection :P
May 10, 201312 yr Let's see. Stock photo, 0 feedback seller, no description. Look at the other things he's listed: 10188 Death Star (2) Bose Acoustimass 10 Series IV Speaker System iPad 4th Generation 10179 Millennium Falcon 1 other listing Scam. Especially since all listings end within an hour and a half of each other. He accepts returns within 14 days which is probably making the buyers think he is legit. He'll bail before those 14 days are up and "disappear". I agree. Why are these people such idiots?!?!
May 10, 201312 yr Hes also been a long time member......as in he joined ebay yesterday. Scams are wrong but so are people stupid enough to fall for such obvious ones.
May 10, 201312 yr Do your research, people! Take Comicblast's anti-scam class before buying anything from Ebay!
May 10, 201312 yr Author Ed was close to want to bid on it, but luckily I was able to talk him out of it
May 10, 201312 yr This cracks me up. "Educate your son on the ultimate space adventure movie of yesteryear with the Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon brick game. This Lego Star Wars brick game depicts Han Solo
May 10, 201312 yr I think not all people who bid on this are naive idiots.......undoubtedly there are people bidding who know that no matter what Ebay will side with the buyer, what's to loose but time and a few emails to eBay? But yeah this is scam central. All that being said if the high bidder expects to receive the item then yes the term idiot applies.
May 10, 201312 yr Ed was close to want to bid on it, but luckily I was able to talk him out of it LoL. People these days are so cumpulsive with their purchases, not even stopping to read or investigate these postings.

May 11, 201312 yr They should make it so you have to show an actual picture of the item, unless you say it's not in your posession yet. OR, we should be allowed to comment on the bottom.....then we can write scam!
May 11, 201312 yr Author They should make it so you have to show an actual picture of the item, unless you say it's not in your posession yet. OR, we should be allowed to comment on the bottom.....then we can write scam! When we release the Brick Classifieds feature, this is Rule #1. Not a real photo, the listing comes down and no refund. I also saw somewhere on the forums here today about eBay getting more strict as well: http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/springupdate2013/picturerequirements.html
May 11, 201312 yr So.... Is anybody here going to point this out to the folks at ebay, or are we all going to sit back and watch? Who, me? Lol no i've got an auction to win :)

I also saw somewhere on the forums here today about eBay getting more strict as well: http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/springupdate2013/picturerequirements.html Right here. http://www.brickpicker.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/3676/ I actually really like this new requirement, but it took a while for eBay to realize that they need something like this...
