Thoughts on the 50% off b-wing rumors? didn't they have 50% off the winter village in lego stores a few months ago? I'm wondering if I should camp out... from what I've gathered the logic in discounting it that much is it isn't selling well and there are about to be a lot of large SW sets out at once

Yup just called my local Lego store and spoke with the manage and she confirmed that the B-Wing is 50% off and limit 3 per person.

I wonder if this will be like a Black Friday disaster at the B@M stores. I can just see people rushing in the stores fighting over the B-Wings. Someone will get pepper sprayed and it will hit the news. I can just see two investors, one with each side of the box pulling it back and forth, saying "mine" "no its mine" "I saw it first" ect... This will be interesting to say the least.

I really hope not. And I hope they'll have more than at least 50 in each store. But then again, Lego is unpredictable.

Snagged 2 b~wings today. They were gone within the first fifteen minutes at the Woodlands mall in Houston. Weird though, guy said they had more, but they were at an off site location. So more would be coming throughout the day.

I suspect everyone who cares has noticed by now, but yes, the B-Wing is 50% off at LEGO LEGO Shop at Home, limit 5(!) Like an earlier poster, I only intended to get an X-Wing for myself, not being a big fan of the B-Wing, but at that price I bagged my limit to throw onto the investment pile. -djm
