there is more to the story. The seller was engaging in some shady business and abusing the Otter trademark, it isn't just a simple case of just reselling online 

Any recent updates to any of these letters? Just wondering what actions Vory's has taken if any?

Received a FedEx Overnight letter from Vory's concerning my Lego selling on Ebay. Been selling only on Ebay for several years and have never had an issue. I do not sell on Amazon or any other platform. I only sell retired sealed sets and only purchase direct from Lego.com, Kohls, etc and have receipts to confirm. I take my own photos and do not use any trademarks from Lego or imply that I am an authorized dealer.

I am taking this seriously but did not want to move forward without asking others if they have dealt with this law firm or have received a similar letter.

I received a letter via email today from Vorys for my eBay storefront. Were you able to come to some sort of resolution with them? I'm not quite sure how to respond to them or if i should just ignore it.

 

If anyone has a lawyer that has dealt with Vorys please post or pm me, much appreciated. I plan to fight this. Thank you!

Few months late but were you able to get it resolved with Vorys? Ive been getting letters via email for about a year now and would like to have them stop sending me these letters with lego sales.

The question is whether or not Lego has the appetite to take this to court. At the moment it seems unlikely.

Its true that they are unlikely to file in court. however, I would like this harassment to stop. They have sent 5 letters now. Has anyone hired anyone to shoot back a letter telling them to stop?

don't waste your money, if you are just selling normal lego and nothing in the grey area

Are people still getting these letters?  Did you respond or ignore and are you still selling on Amazon and/or whatever platform they found you selling on?

just got a fedex overnight about this .five pages of crap why the first doctrine doesn't apply .did anybody else get this recently and can anybody that dealt   with this let me know their experience via pm

has anybody actually had a lawsuit filed by lego ?

I am in the same boat, received a Vorys notice about LEGO selling on Amazon in September....ignored it.  About a month later (few days ago) received a 2nd notice from them.  Good times.

Received another notice, this one was two weeks after the last.  VORYS must have stock in FedEx.  Do these notices ever stop?  Can anyone that has had a run in with VORYS in the past and continued to sell LEGO speak to this?

I doubt Lego will take you to court . Just scare tactics
