Certain sets like 75016, 75017, 75021, and 75013 have been keeping closer to the $0.10 per piece standard most people use when judging sets, and others, like 75002 and 75015 actually have more pieces than the standard. Could this be a sign that Lego is lowering its prices slightly?

We have seen a slightly downward trend in the overall price per brick in sets over the years, I think Lego prices are staying about the same, its really just in the large sets that the price per brick winds up being consistently cheaper.

True that. Just have one thing to add. The SW remakes that we have been getting have been having lower PPP's than the predecessor. I think this is partly due to the fact that there is another version out there, so I wouldn't exactly say that they are "backing down" on their prices. They are more feeding the market that they sell to. They know what the customer wants so that's what they give to them.
