I've noticed on a few sets on Amazon, there is an option to purchase the set with "frustration-free packaging." I'm assuming I should stay away from these if I'm looking to resell the set, but we all know what happens when you assume so I figured I would ask. What do you guys think?

Like others have mentioned - FF rules. However, of late I've been finding about 30% come not in outer packaging, so YMMV.

With Amazon as the seller? Even if I order limit 3 big sets they come in lego shippers that are then put in a big Amazon box.

Thank you all for your comments. I don't mind it for a set I'm buying for myself, but wasn't sure if it mattered when buying a set purely to resell later. Does it lower the value, or does it not really make a big difference?

you have a much higher chance of getting a box that is "minty" with minimal, if any dings. This also mean you get a bit more when you sell depending on the damage level.

It will also be safer to sell and ship but it might cost more in shipping cost
