Toy Hunter on the Travel Channel

Featured Replies

Since presumably some adults on here are into vintage toys, there is a new show premiering on the Travel Channel on Wednesday April 10 called toy hunter. I would imagine there would be some mention of LEGO, if not it still looks like an interesting show. 10-9 central I believe is the time but please don't hold me to that.

There was a Toy Hunter show on before on the Travel Channel, is this the same one? But with new episodes? The episodes I saw before never had Lego on it surprisingly.

Was a pretty decent show. He is mostly after the more popular items such as action figures and board games. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pull LEGO here and there, but I don't really think it is his market.

My wife even likes this show. We've seen a couple episodes, so it's cool that another season got accepted. As others have said, it's mostly board games and action figures, but I'm really impressed at his knowledge of the genre. Would love to see some vintage Lego sometime. There was one episode that he was buying a bunch of stuff for a Comic-Con type deal and he was actually making good money. Something I always wonder about when watching American Pickers or Storage Wars.

XT Starship 6780

Blacktron "Renegade" 6954

Alien Moon Stalker 6940

Polaris-I Space Lab 6972

Lion Knights "King's Castle" 6080

All five for $275 and hopes to resell the lot for 500?! Dude, you're not kidding. The guy made out like a bandit! If you separate the cost, he barely paid $55 for each one.
