If you ever feel that you are no good at designing LEGO sets I want you to remember that someone (or a team of someones) on LEGOs payroll designed this set.

C'mon now, they could only design sets based on the source materials.

I still think this one is worse :dontknow: :

They actually captured a pretty good amount of that scene (likely with very limited info).

I think 39.99 would have been a nicer price.

anyone else seriously disappointed at how pathetic they made "ben"...almost as bad as Boba Fett developing a conscious.
I do like the yellow mute droid tho...I want to see him go full Ig-99 w/ that wrench

I feel like the next Disney SW product will be 30 episode series told from the perspective of the droid whose job it is to clean Vadar’s Bacta tank and each and every one of those episodes will be a cultural treasure compared to middle aged Ben Kenobi searching for the force equivalent of viagra.

It couldn’t be that because Vader isn’t on Tatooine and the people making SW seem to not realize that shows can be set somewhere other than Tatooine.

Tonight’s episode was a standout. Not quite sure how we’re supposed to view the original trilogy now . . . Vadar’s abilities are quite super sized in this series compared to the OG trilogy. I guess he lost a step or two as he aged?

How does Reva just show up after being run through with Vaders light saber? Too bad Qui Gon didn't do that in episode 1.

Obi is given another chance to finish Vader but lets him go on to live & kill innocent people?

The whole series felt pointless. It just exists to screw with original cannon.

When Reva returned with Luke in her arms, lifeless. I was thinking in my mind she was going to force heal him and I was going to flip out.  I watch these on the edge of my seat hoping I don't see something to make me flip out.  Maybe that's the wrong approach. lol

I'm not blind to the issues in some of these shows and movies however Star wars is such a huge part of my childhood that I can literally watch anything with a storm trooper in it and enjoy.

I will say though that the mandalorian show is definitely leading the pack for newer entries.

I'm sure that's what Disney thinks in their meetings.

Director 1:  "Does this make sense?"

Director 2:  "No, but do it anyway."

Director 1:  "Let him live too?".

Director 2:  "Yes, him/her too."

Director 1:  "Is this scenario realistic?"

Director 2:  "No, but the scenery is cool.  Just do it."

Director 1:  "How do we fit this dialogue into the movie?"

Director 2:  "Just stop the movie and give the character their moment."

Director 1:  "Princess Leah is an engineer?  How does she know how to fix hanger doors?"

Director 2:  "Remember boy Anakin?  He was good at fixing things too."

Director 1:  "Where's Wade?"

Director 2:  "Who's that?  Wait, let's take 5 minutes of screen time to reflect.  Ok, next?"

I could see them explaining the down sizing his abilities in Obi Season 2.

Maybe the emperor put limits on him?

Also, nobody wanted to see Ep4 dueling skills again.

What else were they supposed to do?

Yes, those duels were not what we once thought they were.

Years ago, we watched the Star Wars movies in order with my son (from the prequels forward), and I remember during the ep4 duel, my son proclaiming/asking "What's wrong with them??"

It wasn't quite as shocking as when he was horrified after watching the Star Trek TV shows, and then watching one of the Star Trek movies and seeing them aged "What happened to Captain Kirk??"

All I know is that Obi-Wan is a huge failure as a protector of all things good and innocent.  How many times has he had the opportunity to end Vader, and not done it? Thus allowing a mass killer to roam free across the galaxy terrorizing, killing and destroying.

Obi is akin to Dumbledore...not a "protector" but a plot facilitator

[was in the position(s) to snuff out the evil early, but...]
