TheOrcKing Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 Before the "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice" movie, I never actually listened to the original MacArthur Park this was a parody of. As a child and for the longest, this was 'the original' to me. Haha. 1 Quote
raindog Posted March 29 Posted March 29 (edited) I'm old enough to have taken a date with me to see Styx's Grand Illusion tour in 1977. I was 17 years old. Edited March 29 by raindog 2 Quote

My first concert was Styx Mr. Roboto in 1983. It was a bit of shock when I went to my next concert and The Police just stood there and played without a huge elaborate stage show like Styx. Quote

They released 17 albums and had an album reach #7 in 1972 and another to reach #4 in 1973. Ever heard of England Dan and John Ford Coley? England Dan was Seals' younger brother. Later, Dan Seals became quite a popular country singer during the 80's and early 90's, Sure Seals and Crofts England Dan and John Ford Coley is bubble-gum rock but I'll take it every day against acts today that can't record without autotune. Seals and Crofts helped me get laid a number of times during the 70's, something that songs like Wet Hot ***** haven't (so far.) And if you were just joking, in case you haven't noticed, I love teaching (and remembering) music history from the 1940's until the 1980's. Thank you for the excuse.
