I have a complete 75211 TIE with the Mimban Stormtrooper. I was shocked to find the minifig value is so high. So now I'm wondering what I should do:
A. Sell the fig by itself today
B. Sell the fig with the TIE today
C. Keep them both and look again in 6-8 years
Why 6-8 years? Because they are in storage in my attic and won't come out of storage again until my 2yo son is old enough to play with them.
I don't invest or speculate in Lego, I just buy what I like and in this one particular case I have a valuable minifig. I don't need the money. $50 today or $500 in the future means nothing to me. I'm leaning towards selling it (or them) today only because I could buy more Lego with the proceeds, turning a worthless (to me) minifig into something I would enjoy more. I'm interested to know everyone's thoughts.
