For years after TRU closed some halloween chain came in there at around September/October....Now some body shop/automotive place took it over and gutted the whole place out

I think it looks like crap.  That boat is terrible. Add the fact that Bag End is over-priced...I am having second thoughts of getting this day one. 

LOTR fans will scoop this up, but this set is crap.  My "day one" money is being saved for a certain Starfleet shuttlecraft later this year, and lord help us if there should be a legitimately desirable GWP with the $1k Death Star on release.

While I don't disagree, yeah I'l be buying it day one for the GWP to have the LOTR gwp.  Either that or paying $70 on ebay for the gwp.  Collect them all ...

I was thinking of playing the aftermarket game but I am not sure what it will go for.  I just bought the fell beast for 100 and will wait on getting Barad Dur later.

I just want to make sure I get the GWP. Considering ordering at midnight, but have heard too many horror stories about shipping issues and don’t want to wait for it to arrive. Can’t make it to the store until a little later tomorrow, and don’t want to miss it in-store. Figured I could buy two to be safe.

Assuming if I did, anything to be concerned about with my account for purchasing two (if it says limit 1 per household)? If I then get them both and decide to return one Shire set and keep the second GWP (understanding that the price will be deducted), any issues with that?

More concerned with my account being flagged than anything else.

Please don’t try to scam the system and make it worse for all of us and people who truly want to have one and buy the set just for a cheap buck. With that said you should be fine buying one in store and likely multiples online.

I’m not at all, I only care about getting the GWP for the personal collection. The possibility of it being lost/damaged in transit or arriving without the GWP makes me nervous, as does the possibility of missing it in-person tomorrow. If I end up with two, one will be going to my brother as a birthday gift.

Only wondering about the account status aspect, as I only buy new for personal use and don’t want to get flagged or anything.
