Calendar is up now: January 2021 LEGO Calendar

Biggest news, to me at least, the Vintage Car and Monster Book of Monsters overlap for the entire month. Good opportunity to stock up on HP sets at a decent "discount"

I question just how much HP stuff will be available and for how long? The promotion has to last all month long just so they can try to put out more product.

Hmm. Wondering if you can triple-stack the GWPs with a large HP purchase. My local Lego Store still has decent HP stock, surprisingly.

They have not been doing anything like that since the whole covid thing started.

HP castle sets (if in-stock) is the no brainer; especially if GWP stacks

Assuming nothing retiring will be back in stock;

I WANT THAT BLUE CAR....If "forced" to buy at RRP; I'm targeting the Chinese New Year sets and maybe the bonsai for QFLL (only new sets that I see from the new batch that may go scarce)

I’m whelmed.

I was hoping for a GB firehouse reissue, or some other reissue to send this place into a frenzy. Been kinda quiet the last week or two. 

I expect the police station to sell out. Should be a decent enough flip to use leftover vip on and get the car. The ferrari could possibly sell out too. 

The Hogwarts Crest comes out on Jan 1, that would hit both the car and book, and be a Potter set many/all do not have yet

Hard to get excited about the Hogwart's crest Build.  Kind of like a cross between needlepoint and light bright.

 

 

"Celebrating 10 Years of Ninjago" - I get 10 years, but why mark it on the calendar with two days?  Does anyone know of something going on in-stores on those two days?

EDIT: Isn't the Ninjago Gardens supposed to be available to VIPs on the 14th?  

Also, I didn't know about these golden minifigures.  I wonder if one will be allocated to the garden set.

There is a golden Wu figure in the set.

I think the terms say something like that but as far as I know it has not really been enforced if you place multiple orders

At the Lego stores, it's really at the discretion of the manager.

So what does one buy when everything is still out of stock?

Ughh..Same here. 

The Lego website let me get all the way to checkout, redeem $150 of VIP codes, and then told me there was an error.  When I reloaded the page, my cart was empty and I can't add anything to it.  Neat.
