Pseudoty Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Round 7 is out now. Talk about castle fatigue 1/3 of the sets are castle based. This looks unique. 2 Quote
Dr Jedi Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Good grief, Round 7. At this point, they should just set aside two of the five slots to be chosen for production, and give them over to castle. They're gonna be castle/viking/medieval/wizard sets no matter what. And let the rest of the Lego fans of the world have three of the five winning sets to be anything else. There are a few sets in that lot that I'd like to have, but I have to say that a lot of the non-castle sets are rather underwhelming. Quote
Belac Posted February 22 Author Posted February 22 My series three sets are in warehouse. yay As far as series 7 voting I liked the portal of shadows the most. If it doesn't make it, I plan to build something inspired by it. Quote
eliminator Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Got my S3 sets today. Don't think my Insider/VIP points have been credited yet? Can't seen to go back far enough in my past orders to confirm... 1 Quote

If you have your sets in hand I'd think your points should've been added. Quote

When I contacted Lego they could see on their end that my points were credited, but not double points (as was the promo when I ordered the sets). Nevertheless, they quickly credited me the extra points. All good. Quote

Pseudoty Posted Friday at 08:18 PM Posted Friday at 08:18 PM Looks like they are going to increase the set limit to 50K just in time for Adventure in Transylvania. Waiting for the early review video some of them are up already. Quote

For me, I'm not buying these sets as investments...so being able to secure a copy to build is more important than long-term value. Who knows, having a higher production run might make these sets more mainstream and in turn, accessible and desirable? Quote

The fast pace of these sets have only hurt my wallet more than helped, made $50 here and there but for the most part a lot sets I have waiting for me to build. I hope they change the cadence to like once a year because I would like to continue to support and enjoy the program but for me personally it’s becoming difficult. 1 Quote
Pseudoty Posted Tuesday at 12:35 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:35 PM Anyone have the early direct link for the Transylvania set? Quote
CosmicSpeed Posted Tuesday at 01:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:13 PM I am back and forth on Tortuga and Transylvania, Tortuga fits more of my Pirates love, so leaning that way. Mushroom Village for sure to match the Mushroom House. Not a huge fan of the Antique shop for that price, on the fence about the Popcorn wagon. Quote
Pseudoty Posted Tuesday at 03:12 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:12 PM Got 1 Transylvania everything went smooth until payment, got the spinning circle so ended up using Apple Pay on my iPhone and it went through instantly. Quote
MotorCityMuscle Posted Tuesday at 06:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:43 PM looks like the castle and the pirate set will sell out today. the others go funded, but likely don't sell out. Quote
eliminator Posted Tuesday at 10:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:28 PM Transylvania was close to selling out, but BL must have added additional order capacity.... More Series 5 Sets? You Got It! The love for Series 5 has blown us away! We know it’s tough when sets sell out before you can get your hands on them, so we teamed up with our manufacturing friends to make more sets available. This may not be the case for future series, so don't miss your chance to get in on the fun. Quote
MotorCityMuscle Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Yep! Someone said they had already shifted to 40k sets on Transylvania and then it went to 50k. Quote
