Wow the Golden Mech is just pulled from The Temple of Light set 70505 which was an amazing seller. 

ugh..! I dont know what are the feelings of others, but these boxes look so ugly!   If the packaging doesnt thrill the appetite - why anyone should buy it? This is definitely a huge step down from the last year visuals that are amazing. (70650 - xx). 

The Golden Mech looks decent but the other sets look as if designed by high school kids for extra credit...so sad ?

 

That red mech looks like it transforms into a jet.

I know it wouldn't be shown here anyways, but I really just want another Ninjago Modular addition, but that would be a D2C for next year. Holding out hope.

only good one is 71708 for plethora of minifigs

it's looking like the target age for Ninjago is getting younger; which is likely the trend...it's now around age 6 and the simplicity of the sets reflect this.

I like the mechs and the tech temple

Not a big fan of these, but man props to Lego for somehow making Ninjago a sustaining brand for this long. Pretty impressive. 

These new Ninjago sets look impressive..the boxes are fabulous IMHO

These are much better than the Hidden Side sets box art. HS is too busy. This feels like it tells a story a bit better.

LEGO certainly has decided to go innovative with its box art lately. I’m glad to see them pushing themselves a bit.

That dragon is very interesting.  Reminds me of the lion builds from Voltron.  The wings have technic pieces on the bottom side.  Wonder if they will fold up or not.  Wouldn't surprise me if they don't, but still might be cool functionality.

Anyone know the weight of the Ninjago set 71764: Ninja Training Center?

I am trying to see if mine is the correct weight or has been tampered with.
