A couple of interesting sets there.

The new 60255 will pair nicely with my 60148 ATV Race Team.  I love 60148, it's got great play value.  Taking the truck around the living room, parking it, unloading the ATVs for "local exploration" and being able to pack it up and check out somewhere else.  Great fun.  I got a bunch on clearance at Wal-Mart for $7 last year, I think it'll end up doing fairly well.  Nice looking truck, too.

Promobricks has posted images of some of the 2020 sets:

60260 - Air Race - 140 pieces - 29.99 euros
60261 - Airport (4+) - 286 pieces - 49.99 euros
60262 - Airliner - 669 parts - 99.99 euros
30370 - deep sea diver (polybag) - 22 parts - 3.99 euros

60262 seems to be the most promising of the bunch.....

 

A couple of notes:

• Looks like LEGO is trying to create characters/storylines with city.  Interesting.
• Not sure how relatable driving your car onto a jet is, but okay.

We knew it was coming, but sigh, another "airport". It will undoubtedly do well once retired as all airports do, but for the love of all things holy when are we going to get an updated Farm theme??!?!

Edit...that plane does look pretty sweet though. I'll stockpile those like I did the last two versions when they hit 30-40% off.

Is that a new nose piece for the airplane?  It looks much taller than previous ones.  And they're able to haul a car inside it now?  Granted it looks like a 4-wide car but I think that plane is going to end up being larger than we think it is.

Planes always do well.  Now if they really wanted to make this a big seller, they should have put a helicopter inside the plane 😀

Meh. They’re not so impressive when they fly out of the airfield 1/2 mile from your office all day long. And over your house because you’re in a flight plan, until midnight.

 

/The price of freedom

It looks like they connected two hulls from the original deep sea exploration vehicle to make one giant one for the long massive boat. If these sell like to deep sea exploration line it will be straight money.

 

I guess we needed a bigger boat.

The aqua/ underwater sets really take me back to the mid- to late-90s as a kid.  Quite literally the last sets I received before a 20-year dark age period.  Receipt of an N64 was the nail in the coffin.
