Look at the large retiring sets this year... some of these will be your doorbusters:

Parisian Restaurant
Apocalypseburg
Carousel
Ninjago City/Docks
Cloud City
The rest will likely be sets on the retiring list that they can't move at RRP, or are overproduced on. They're not looking to slash prices on stuff they can still move without the sale.

im in for the city for sure!

PR is iffy... I do like it for personal but don’t know about future performance.

Carousel will score another brick! thank you good sir!!
Last year was Detective's Office and Old Fishing Store

30% off? really any discount on both of those are turning profit now! I often realize I got in to this just a little late.... still doing it for the passion but the dollars are harder to find

yes the Daily deals are 30% off.   Disney Train is a surprising one...

Where did you see that one?  That's insta-buy for personal use.

I bet UCS Y-Wing will be in there as well. They will probably do the same thing as last year, day 1 10%, day 2, 20%, etc. See if people will bite at less than 30%. There will be a few turds at 30% right out of the gate just so they can advertise the 30% immediately. I'm still looking for a docks and possibly Apocalypseburg so each of those would be nice.

Magic?

yes it's a great deal,  30 off ,  tree promo and surfer van promo all on same day.  Plus still on double points

I am just now selling my OFS's and Detective Offices. Nice appreciation for one year hold. Will roll proceeds in to this year's deals.

That tells me enough. :D.  (Well, other than the source of your magic.  But a true magician never reveals his secrets).

If you're a LEGO® VIP, your holiday savings start sooner than everyone else. That's because VIP Weekend is coming, Saturday & Sunday, 11/23-11/24!

Xmas tree will be $39.95 or more

Depends how many they make and how many times it comes back in the future. HP Diagonalley was a home run among many disappointing other promo sets.

The Christmas Carousel from last year is selling for $50+ on Amazon. I just sold 2 this weekend. I don't remember the buy-in to get that, but it sure seems like a reasonable price for a GWP from just last year.

They'll def hold higher with the higher buy in.  The numbers so far aren't to high.  Actually less than last few years.
