I was a bit shocked when I saw this thread come up.  I would have sworn we had a thread for the Cantina.

Then I realized what was going on.  Geez...didn't the last one just retire?

I am the biggest Lego apologist there is, and think people overreact to the recycled set talk.....but good lord are you kidding me? This finally makes me mad if they really are re-releasing another cantina.

OMG, that's pathetic! (both the new set, now that I've seen the picture of it, and the recycling of a pretty decent set into something not worth the packaging) !

I have substantially reduced the amount of Star Wars sets I buy now.  This is one of the main reasons.  I want the Ahsoka figure in the frigate but hey I figured the same fig will be released in another set. 

Can't believe they've re-released but the poor set should be good news for anyone with 75052's to sell as that set is so much better.

Same here and I've actually bought no Star Wars sets since I got back into the game this year. They need to be 75% off before it's worth my while unless it's UCS which I'll take at 50% off. I'm a huge fan of the Star Wars movies and characters, but I think most the sets suck these days.

The set doesn't bother me.  Just another TRU exclusive that you can add on to the original cantina and make an even bigger diaroma.  Plus, it's got WUHER, and a cheaper way to get the Han Solo from the Death Star set!  These TRU exclusives are usually take it or leave it... but i'll at least buy one when the 25% off deal hits in february.

Agreed. I just wish there was another Cantina alien included. The opportunities to get them are few and far between.

Nearly 400 pieces and $39.99 RRP? Probably has the weight of a 250 piece set from 2010. Best thing Lego does for themselves is publish the piece count instead of the weight on the box. More tiny pieces = more $$$

first thought was unprintable.

second lets turn that frown upside down thought was, can this somehow be added-on, incorporated into 75052's build to make it better or possibly 2x 75052 plus one of these?  

please, for the love of mercy,  ANYTHING to make 75052 go up in price - worst sw performer of 2014 for sure.  even lowly b-wing is clobbering.
