Well that went quick.  Most things are listed as claimed now.  Lots of money to be made QFing the ISD/AT-AT/AT-TE/Republic Gunships on Amazon and GREAT prices on the old UCS.  Congrats on the haul.

Isn't Emazers from Baltimore? Nah...it can't be him. There are too many small to medium sized sets in that list that he wouldn't waste his time on. Also, the listing wasn't written in third person.

There really isn't enough severed heads among the collection.

What was the seller smoking when they came up with those prices? 2 Red 5´s for the same as 1 Sandcrawler, 4 9493´s for 1 Mystery Mansion.

If my math is right, he's unloading 294 sets and looking for a cool $26,364.  If you need a big nut, taking a $6k-$7k haircut to move it fast can be worth it, I guess...

Love how some on here automatically assume that a lego collector must be a BPER. We are just a very small % in the world of LEGO.

Oh and Emazers would never let his storage of sets look like that heap.

At first I thought it was you since you like CL but didn't think you had a Cloud City unless you bought it used. Then when I found out who it was their profile must be hidden if you can do that? Make sense he was a big time builder.

BTW... That guy near me with the huge warehouse full of fantastic sets, sold the entire lot at a private auction last month and lost a lot of money. I heard that even his UCS MFs and SSDs barely went for RRP. He called me, but I couldn't cherry-pick, the entire lot had to go and I understand that it only just reached the reserve of £750,000. If that's not a wake-up call to what's going on, what is?

Any more big bailers out there? (I'm just small-fry compared to some I've met)

Yeah, but how many people involved in reselling Lego have that amount of money to drop on the full lot, especially in the UK. Can't imagine there's more than a handful. Someone probably got the bargain of the century with the full lot.

Yeah not sure I understand the logic of building up a huge stash and expecting to be able to cash out all at once.

It might have been a better investment than gold at some point but its certainly  not as easily tradeable.
