Found this in the attic. It is in the original (black and white) box, which shows wear. The set is new. Only one of the internal boxes has been opened, and all parts are still sealed in plastic. I don't see a manual, although I suppose it could be in one of the still sealed boxes.  Looking for some advice: What is the best venue to sell? Auction format? Where can I go to get more specific advice on how to evaluate and sell? Unemployed, and need the cash, but also need to get top dollar. Your help is appreciated.

you can list it for sale on www.ebay.com and, www.brickclassifieds.com for starters.  i would do a buy it now format.  price it to sell asap.

Wow.  I'd keep rummaging through that attic.

I'd list it as a buy it now or best offer for 2500.00 on eBay. Take the closest to that. Make sure you set buyer requirements, and ship using insurance and signature confirmation.

I sold a used complete one for about 1800 a while back.

Auction is risky because if you don't get the right buyers, it could sell for lower than you want. Good luck!
