I need to start coming up with some good launch pad designs for this.

Thanks looking at the original photos looks like will need to stock up on Reddish Brown as well.

162cm or 5ft4in (Elspeth De Montes size, not the rocket)

If the box design is part of the hold up between approval and hitting the shelves, I'm in. Good design is awesome.

what do you have in mind for a launch pad MOC?  i found these pics on google.   the launching pad is HUGE.

we might need more bricks for the launching pad than the ship itself...

Just the way I like it.

Through bag 5 of 12.  Little repetitive.  Next section looks more of the same.  One or two neat build features but overall pretty basic.  It'll be a nice display piece when finished.

First time I look into this thread and I have to say that I am really liking this set. Not really sure if it's for me, but I expected a smaller version.

KFC should partner with Lego and give a free Zinger coupon with purchase of 21309, since they want to send it to space...

If someone has a spare Eiffel Tower 10181 (or a partial set of it) - Those pieces might work great.

Yay, no TLG tax for Spain on this one.

Through 10 of 12. Little frustrating tonight. Instructions seemed lacking on a few things. 

Just scale this up...
