August 6, 20169 yr This is supposedly coming out by the end of this year. We're getting a bit of discussions in other threads so I thought we should have a place for thoughts about this great IDEA set. @ravenb99says it will be $59.99. What do you think of this IDEA? https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87703
August 6, 20169 yr Author Honestly, I'm not too familiar with these but I think they look pretty close. Edited August 6, 20169 yr by dcdfan

Can a mod, please fix this to 21306 as reported by brickset and @ravenb99 At $59.99 the Caterham Super Seven looks like a must-buy. Also, $79.99 for Apollo 11 Saturn V seems like a very good price when you take into account that the rocket will be about 1 meter tall according to the Ideas blog. I just wonder how much they reduced the proposed basic model with a piece count of 1867 to come up with that price.
August 7, 20169 yr $60 price on this set worries me that it will be very small i hope that it will be possible to make multiple different colors though...

August 7, 20169 yr Having a unique hotrod for the LEGO line will make their selection more interesting simply on being something else than another Volkswagen or some other small car entry or even a more obvious popular choice. Great model for a cool car, and if the set number upon reveal is different the topic title can be fixed easily.
August 7, 20169 yr @Lordoflego My favourite color scheme was shown in the last update to this project. Unfortunately, the color is very rare.
August 19, 20169 yr Well, I'm not going to make the same mistake twice and post a photo here, but there's something on Hothbricks and Reddit. It looks good, but I'm not a fan of the color. That's a day-1 buy for me and will be the first Ideas set I get. EDIT: the set is actually 21307, not 21306, you might want to edit the title. Edited August 19, 20169 yr by Pomodoro
August 19, 20169 yr Was super excited when they choose the set but now I am much less excited. It looks smaller and doesn't have the nice shape the original had.

August 19, 20169 yr Author EDIT: the set is actually 21307, not 21306, you might want to edit the title.Well, Brickset is reporting different and we already changed the number once so maybe we should wait to see what info we get from Lego. Just a thought. Also if the number is wrong, the price may be too. [emoji15]
August 19, 20169 yr We should know soon enough, if I cross my eyes, it seems to read "Disponible à partir du 01/10" under the blurb (available from October 1st). Edited August 19, 20169 yr by Pomodoro
August 19, 20169 yr I don't like the black-yellow color scheme at all. It's worse than all the color-combinations the creator of this project came up with. Now I'll probably pass on this Ideas set.
August 19, 20169 yr I was really looking forward to this set but it looks terrible compared to the original ideas submission. Really Lego?
August 19, 20169 yr Will be interesting to see if the designer of the original Ideas submission will compare the redesigned by Lego set with his own submission. A side by side review would be excellent...
August 19, 20169 yr First impressions are disappointing. It lacks all the nice details of the original, which I suspected it might. The black mudguards totally kill the look. No grills on the rims...no windscreen.... It looks more like a modern production sports buggy than a vintage classic.
