Batman minifigure head misprint?

Yesterday, I opened the minifigure heads below from two different sets: 76026 Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas and 76055 Killer Crocs Sewer Smash. I'm not sure which head comes from which set as only a closer inspection of the heads afterwards revealed the difference (chin, cheek bones) to me. From pictures and reviews I found online I would assume that both sets should include the same Batman variant.

Did anyone else notice a difference like that regarding this LEGO part?

    Maybe they updated the face and didn't consider it a major enough change to consider it different.  I'm not sure why they make these tiny changes though.  Can anyone honestly say one of those is better than the other?
