A First Look at the 2017 DC Mighty Micros

According to a story by Andrew Paul, Contributing Writer to Comicbookresources.com, the next wave of DC Mighty Micros will be released January 2017, and include three new superhero/villain pairs:

Batman vs. Killer Moth

Hopefully this means we'll get a Bizarro and Doomsday figure in 2017. I would hate to think that these are the only versions of those characters coming for mass release.

I'm already thinking ahead to ordering some green and blue minifig legs to change out the legs.

I should order now but probably just going to say someone's loosing their legs, the first day I see Bizarro

I wonder if you'll be able to find a full size replacement cape.

Makes me wonder about the future viability of series 1. Is it similar to Microfighters Series 1 or any other Super Heroes set.

The Doomsday minifigure here is a bit too cartoony to be taken seriously looking less 'villain-esque' than he should but I will admit I do like his silly expression. Haha. Also seeing the 1x2 teeth pieces in a color other than just white is a plus. The vehicles shown here feel more unique and stylized than the first wave, perhaps more 'fleshed out'. Out of them all, the Batchopper may be my favorite although I could see myself driving Doomsday's or Superman's rides.

Bonus points if the Batcopter rotor spins when you drive it.

I love how Bizarro's vehicle is the opposite of Superman's. Nice touch.

Sorry, but Superman driving any vehicle never made sense to me. :dontknow: I mean the dude can fly faster than the speed of light, why would he need to ride on anything slower than himself?

It took me 5 minutes to finally see it. I kept wondering what it was until I saw the fists.

The fin too.  Although I am not sure why the wheels were not reversed.

March 1978. The 70s were a heady time at DC.

Heh, the Superman stories that I could enjoy usually had to with his mortality, like Superman: Secret Identity (Busiek) and All Star Superman (Morrison) ;)

So the Mighty Micro is truly based on something from the comics. Far out.

It still is nowhere near as bad as the dreaded Magnetomobile.

Are all the capes mini too?
