All the ones I have gotten have been good.

For me the best way is to order one set at a time so that they are shipped separately. A couple times I placed orders for multiple sets and Amazon crammed 3-4 sets in one shipping box with no packing and they arrived crushed.

VIPOutlet is legit. They have a huge store on eBay as well, with BPers ordering from them last week. I’m not familiar with the Brick one tho.

My Barracuda came in a nice study oversized box with plenty airpillows. LEGO set box had some damage, but that's because VIPOUTLET sells returned/rejected merchandise, not because of their packing. So YMMV.

Well they may be legit but I am not pleased with the way they do business and I consider them dishonest. I ordered a Hogwarts castle from them using the partyfor25 coupon. Deal went through. 48 hours later they cancel order with no explanation. So I lose out on deal and my coupon is no longer valid.

And there is no way for me to criticize them on ebay. I will not order from them again. 

Very disappointing. 

 

 

I also was less than pleased with VIPOutlet.  Purchased 2 of the T-Rex Jurassic Parks.  They shipped them in the lego boxes.  Both arrived severely damaged.  One was opened and I believe taped up by FedEx.  I messaged them about the issue and got a cut and pate reply to return the items if I wanted to.  You can get some great deals from them, just don't expect much as far as condition goes.

Add me to the list of displeased vipoutlet customers. My sets arrived all torn up from removed stickers and with writing on the boxes. Not sure why they removed stickers from the boxes because they still left several stickers on the boxes as well. Ponderous.

If they're going to send out rejected, damaged, returned items then they should disclose that in their listings.

It appears Barnes and Noble is increasing in store clearance on sets that haven't sold yet.  Picked up a couple Overwatch sets at 50% off.  Bastion at $24.99 and D.Va at $19.99.

Supposedly any set that was previously on clearance and over $20 retail should be 50% off now in store.

Guys, VIP_Outlet is an outlet store so most likely what we are getting from them are returns with various degrees of damage. I would be interested to sell them my damaged returns :-) to save me the time and effort to sell them myself on Ebay.

Vip outlet does have a system to indicate this or at least they used to. Brand new, like new, recon, grade a, etc. I only order Brand new as I’ve found Like New = no box and missing pieces.

I think I bought about 15-20 Ryobi tools from them over the years that we’re listed as Grade A refurb when they were really just dinged boxes from Home Depot. Out of the whole lot I had to return two. Not great, but for 70% off I can’t complain.

Ryobi now sends HD returns directly to DirectTools Factory Outlet and they actually do recon and refurbish tools, when needed. They also sell clearance “factory blemished” accessories that one might make a quick flip on reselling FBM or if one needed to get their metrics up for the holidays. [emoji2958]
