The tractor and car of 60305 are decent but something about the trailer on its own seems off. It functions well enough and could be loaded up with three similarly sized cars. However, the bottom 'shelf' should have included the same 1x2 grill wedges built-in to hold that car in place same as the top half does. Otherwise, the car just slides around. I suppose the takeaway for 60305 is "decent but could be better". Whereas looking at the overall picture of what 60408 offers appears to have fixed everything the former did not accomplish in my eyes. Some really nice color usage & sweet rides.

So if anyone bought from this "Sale" go back and double check the actual retail price of the set you bought and see how much you really saved. Gringots bank you save $30 not $100 as advertised. I broke and got the Ferrari SP3 for $360, only 10% off initial MSRP prior to the price hike, to finally complete my 1:8 collection.

I noticed that they'd pulled the current lowest FBM price on Titanic, for whatever reason. The FBA listed at $829.99 doesn't even show up in the buy box right now (for me at least). Woot's owned by Amazon now, so I'm guessing a lot of these "reference prices" (as they call them) are pulled automatically. I noticed some of the sets showed less than MSRP as the "reference price". When you hover over "reference price" it says: "Price provided by our vendor OR a Strike-Through Price from Amazon BUT may not be the prevailing market price or regular retail price." Annoying.
