Total sales volume is up ~8-10% from previous years based on early reporting. 3% higher on black Friday specifically. Similar to a lot of other retailers I suspect know they have a lot of "bad inventory" they are unwilling to clearance to move.

Couple full price inventory with mediocre holiday promo's at insane price thresholds. It's common sense why people are choosing to quickly buy something off Amazon/Walmart at 20-40% off with guaranteed returns/satisfaction.

the numbers I saw from LEGO were down about 20% from last year over BF weekend.   Not horrible seeing last year was ridiculously high,  last 2 years actually.  Probably be a normal year pre covid with a moderate increase from 2019.
