It was on sale from Disney Store a few times past couple of years.  With coupon reported here I believe.

    I know there has been a free shipping code.  I leveraged my good credit and just ended up applying for their Disney credit card and got a $100 off my purchase... this was during one of the everything is on sale but the Disney castle.  Free shipping did work though, it ended up being $280 w/tax.  It was about this time last year.

    IMHO, I don't think the castle will ever go on sale unless it's a pricing error.  I think it will be around forever... or at least longer than most sets.  This is the flagship of Disney Legos.

    I have been waiting for this one to drop for personal build.  Big fan of most the City Great Vehicles & also hoping for at least 1/2 the eol performance as 60059.

    Attempting to suppress it's value as much as possible as more and more investors jump on the hype train.

    It's a great set with great potential. Amazon sellers should do better... but the hyped sets often stagnate on the open market. The more we talk about it, the more casual folks buy in. Prices stagnate as impatient folks try to dump stock.

    I have Amazon access, but I'm not going deep yet. I think this thing gets clearanced during Walmart summer sale and we see better prices.

    I was barely able to grab the 8 i did. Were the only ones left scattered at 2/12 locations. So if the inventory levels allows you to wait for the summer clearance, then I would too!

    I really like this set as well.  There are not a lot of farming / forestry kinds of sets so this fills a nice void in my opinion.  Still waiting for a new City farm series...

    I'd suggest using this thread as guide.  Go back to this time last year, review rollback deals posted, and track whether they retired.  Amazing what you can learn by researching the forum.
