I read through the SD thread and they said you couldn't gift a Prime membership at the discount rate to yourself or another person.  Doesn't mean I won't try it, I'm just not getting my hopes up.

Yeah. This gift-to-self attempt doesn't work since the last time they have this promo (that was second time they did this AFAIK). Note that it does work the first time around 2 years ago but guess they closed that option since.

Tried on Imperial Hotel.  No dice.  Manager said they were sent list of lego exclusions for this and it appeared to be every set they carry.  I was really nice too, but that didn't seem to matter today.

YMMV but my Kmart has a blue light special going where all of the clearance stuff is 60% off instead of 20%. I stocked up and bought all of the halo mega bloks that I wanted. The best part was I had surprise points so it made everything 75% off lol.

As an engineer with an advanced degree I consider myself not the dullest tool in the shed.  That being said this SYW stuff baffles me.  What a mess.

YMMV but my Kmart has a blue light special going where all of the clearance stuff is 60% off instead of 20%. I stocked up and bought all of the halo mega bloks that I wanted. The best part was I had surprise points so it made everything 75% off lol. 

Went to my Kmart all clearance is still 20% off. its been 20% for a long time.

My experience is that it pays off to make the same shopping cart at all 3 sites (SYW.com, Sears.com and KMart.com) and see which one gives the best combination of coupons. Seriously.
