Hey Brickpickers, I've just come out of the dark ages (a rather short one at that) and have rediscovered Lego, become interested in some investing, and also stumbled onto the best online Lego community. Unfortunately I missed out on a lot of recently retired models and all sales and clearances that come with Christmas.. Terrible timing I know.. So my brickfolio is looking sad but I know my direction and am eyeing May 4th for those great SW discounts

i am over at the other side of Australia, Perth. Normally don't get much love in terms of stock availability compared to the eastern states.

Right, I see that. Plus Australia in general doesn't get much love for the prices, especially with our dollar equal to a whole 70 US cents..

From memory last year was just a free polybag from Lego SAH, there weren't even any discounts.

True and i was waiting to see what discount we can have with May the 4th....which is eventually disappointing.

In terms of pricing, yes....the US have better pricing and of course more sets availability.
