December 11, 201510 yr Now officially no longer a rumor, maybe. http://brickset.com/sets/75159-1/The-Death-Star
December 11, 201510 yr so we know 10188 is done (assuming 75149 us real), this definitely makes 10188 more of a gamble. Edited December 11, 201510 yr by jay4e
December 11, 201510 yr So... remake of 10188 (ala toyshop)? remake of 10143? display viersion of DS1 (similar to 10143)? DS3 of some type???
December 11, 201510 yr Now it starts to get funny I'm wondering what it will look like (Playset or not) and what will be included with the set and of course what it will do to the price of 10188. Interesting times are coming Edited December 11, 201510 yr by Chillreign

December 11, 201510 yr After having the Death Star remain available for 50 years, and giving everyone more than enough time to get one - I find it very hard to believe that they would re-release a virtual copy of the 10188 (unless LEGO is actually aiming for the complete destruction of re-sellers). But if it is so.... Edited December 11, 201510 yr by KShine

December 11, 201510 yr This will have to be at least $500 to match the 10188. Also they don't tend to use as many hard bricks nowadays, I would doubt that the weight would be more than 2/3 of the 10188. More plates, less bricks, same number of figs, at least 20% higher price. I still say the 10188 will be unique. This should be different in many aspects. Moreover, if they want people who own a 10188 buy this one too they HAVE to make it different.
December 11, 201510 yr The set # 75159 doesn't jive with the "Ultimate Collector Series" subtheme on Brickset...or am I missing something here? Either way, this should get interesting...
