October 6, 201510 yr Who knew LEGO's Microfighters 'chibi' style would have inspired a new breed of builds? (Or how about this CUUSOO submission from a year before LEGO unleased the Star Wars Microfighters upon the world.)

October 6, 201510 yr I...I...I want all of these. I need to have all of these.I love this style. I don't know why I never thought of them as Chibi style, but yeah. I *need* to have all of these. My favorites are the Black Pearl, Serenity, the Viking ship, the Mutt Cutts, Benny, Ecto-1, HP, Simpsons, and Knight Rider.I'm not even a fan of the Simpsons or HP, but I love both of those.
October 7, 201510 yr Author I love this style. I don't know why I never thought of them as Chibi style, but yeah. I *need* to have all of these.I imagine Darth Raichu could explain the whole thing better than me. Far as I understand the Microfighter builds would probably fit better under the "super deformed" category rather than "Chibi" since the latter has more to do with small characters typically drawn in a cutesy artistic style than normal people sitting in shrunk down versions of larger vehicles. ....Actually the more I think about it, the "chibi" term is sort of bugging me. I'll just edit the title to simply read as "Microfighter style MOCs".
October 7, 201510 yr Super Deformed - that's the term I've heard before, but had completely forgotten until you mentioned it just now.
October 10, 201510 yr I love the little "smoke" behind the General Lee's tires. These things are super creative.
