I'm new to bying bulk Lego so I'm looking for some advice on Craigslist offer that I think is a good deal as is.

I see pirate bits, several mini figs, and I think that base pate is from 6190-1 Sharks Crystal Cave. 

Considering that it has been available for 17 days- I think that speaks for itself.

300 is a lot unless there are some good sets in there. Hard to tell from the pics though

For me, $7 a pound is top of the mark on a bulk lots. That usually means, recognizable, partially constructed sets with licensed minifigures. Something where I can see the value. If this is truly 50 lbs, he's at least $100 too much for bad pictures of bulk stuffed into a box. Plus, 90's sets are plentiful and unpopular. You can make money on them after a lot of work and waiting,but how much is your time worth?

Honestly I picked up a similar bulk lot - mebbe 30 lbs for $35 yesterday. You really have to look at the lot in terms of bricks/lb, unless there is something in there recognizable from a high value set. Then it's worth a look. Even still, 300 is too much. 50-60 would be my max.

I think I'll take a pass on that one as when I first spotted it it was $ 200 and he has raised it to $ 350
